Margos & Partners is the brand under which GEXCAP Inc., a company incorporated in the United States, operates this platform.
What we are
We are a marketing and technology company, not a law firm. We do not practise Maltese law, we do not give legal, tax or accounting advice, and nobody here acts as your lawyer.
What we do is narrower and, we think, useful: we describe what these services involve in plain terms, we let you set out your situation in your own words, and we hand a clear written summary to a Maltese law firm that can actually do the work.
Who does the work
Every legal, corporate, tax and advisory service described on this site is performed by independent Maltese law firms and licensed professionals with whom GEXCAP has service collaboration agreements. Those firms are separate practices. They are not our branches, partners, agents or employees.
The firm that takes your matter issues its own engagement letter in its own name, carries the professional duties, holds the professional indemnity insurance, and answers to its own regulator. Its advice is its advice. You are free to instruct any lawyer you choose and are under no obligation to instruct anybody we introduce.
How it works
Describe your situation to the assistant. It asks what actually changes the answer — where you are tax resident, whether there is a deadline, what has already been signed — and gives you the indicative cost and timeframe for the service that fits. It then prepares a written summary of your matter and passes it to a collaborating firm, which decides whether to take it on and contacts you directly.
You get the summary too, as a PDF or Word document. It is yours.
What we will not do
We will not tell you what the law says about your case — that is the firm's job, and it needs facts we have not verified. We will not guess a figure we cannot stand behind. We will not run a conflict check, hold your money, open a legal file or watch a deadline for you. If any of that matters to your matter, you need a lawyer engaged, not a platform.
Where we are
GEXCAP Inc. is incorporated in the United States and operates this platform from there.
We keep a technical service office in Malta — St. Paul's Mansions Block A, Triq ix-Xatt, Ta' Xbiex, XBX 1027 — which maintains this website and the software behind it. It is not a client office. No legal, tax or advisory work is done there, and nobody there can advise you.
The firm that takes your matter gives you its own address in its engagement letter. That is the office your matter actually lives in.
