22D. When the court allows the demand for a declaration as provided in article 22C(1) in respect of any property forfeited , such property shall cease to be forfeited and shall revert to the ap plicant in virtue of the judgment upon its becoming definite, and the applicant shall thereupon be entitled to the recovery of the in come received by the Government from such property during the period of its forfeiture.
