216. The judgment shall be delivered by the judge or magistrate before whom the cause has been t ried; and when the court consis ts of more than one judge or magistrate, by one of such judges or magistrates; sohowever that it shall be lawful for the judge or magistrate presiding that court to deliver the judgment in the absence of the other members o f the court provided that the judgment is signed by at least two of the m embers of the court.
