228. (1) No appeal shall lie from any judgment given upon admission of the claim, or accepte d by the renunciation of the right of appeal or by acquiescence in the findings of the judgment. Appeal from inferior courts when admissible. (2) Nor shall an appeal lie from any judgment of the Court of Magistrates (Malta), or of the C ourt of Magistrates (Gozo) in i ts inferior jurisdiction as a court of first instance, where the a mount of the claim, assessed or assessable as provided in articles 748 a nd 761, does not exceed four hundred and sixty-five euro and eighty- seven cents (465.87), and the matter at issue does not i nvolve a point of law determined in the judgment or the determination of a cla im for the eviction of any person from immovable property. 76 CAP. 12.] CODE OF ORGANIZATION AND CIVIL PROCEDURE Appeal from decrees.
