345. In the case of seizure of perishable merchandise or other articles which are in a state of progressive deterioration or o f articles which are about to go out of fashion or become technologically obsolete, it shall be lawful for the court, upo n the demand of any person having an interest or of the official consignee, to order such merchan dise or other articles to be so ld in such manner as the court shall deem proper, including the sale to be effected forthwith b y the Registrar or by the consignee.
