470. (1) Saving the provisions of article 489 of this Code and of article 37 of the Civil Code , any demand for any authorization or leave to enter into or make any contract or disposition in resp ect of which the law requires a previou s authorization or leave, or fo r any other order or direction in civil matters of voluntary jurisdic tion, shall be made to a section of the Civil Court as may be prescri bed by regulations. (2) Such application shall be signed by the applicant himself or by an advocate, notary, or legal procurator. Powers of judge. Amended by: IV .1868.5.
