704. (1) The provisions of article 2( e) of the Judicial Proceedings (Use of English Language) Act , shall mutatis mutandis apply to the answers to th e questions in all courts. (1) It shall be lawful for the court to put or allow the party referring to put to the other party to whose oath referen ce is made any query which, although not included in the interrogator ies, is connected with the subject-mat ter of the questions, or tends to elicit true and precise answers on the matter of the questions. (2) The answers to any such queries shall also be taken down and certified by the registrar, a nd shall be inserted in the re cord.
