848. Saving the provisions of articles 466 and 467 respecting the claims of the Government, no warrant of seizure shall be is sued by the Court of Magistrates (Malta) or by the Court of Magistra tes (Gozo) in its inferior jurisdiction, unless the warrant is sued out accompanied by a demand that the credit or claim are judicially acknowledged and the debt or claim exceeds one thousand, one hundred and sixty-four euro and sixty-nine cents (€1,164.69), o r the demand for such warrant is fo r an article which, as stated, is property belonging to the person suing out the warrant.
