97B. (1) A judicial assistant shall not enter upon the functions of his office before he has take n, before the Court of Appeal, the oath of office in the following terms: I........................... .do swear that I will fa ithfully and with all honesty and to the best of my ability perform the duties of judicial assistant as prescribed by law. (2) The provisions of Sub-Title II of Title II of Book Third shall apply to judicial assistants, except that the decision on any such matter shall be taken by th e court before which the case i s pending.
