127A. (1) An adopter or an adopted person who has attained eighteen years of age may apply to the court for a copy of the relevant adoption decree. (1A) An adopter or an adopted person who has attained the age of sixteen (16) years shall have the right to file a formal req uest to the Central Authority to request details of the adopted person’ s natural family and, or of the adoption placement: Provided that such information should only be given in the 64 [CAP. 16. CIVIL CODE presence of a professional working in the social field, who pos sesses the necessary skills. (2) An adopted person who has attained eighteen years of age shall have the right to apply to the court for authorisation to obtain a copy of his original birth certificate fr om the Public Regist ry. (3) Prior to giving an order related to sub-articles (1) and (2) , the court shall hear the applicant and any other person it deem s fit in the circumstances. Prohibition of certain payments.
