Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 216
216. (1) The persons vested with the provisional possession of
the property of the absentee shall take the necessary steps, before
the competent court, to make up, within three months from the day
on which they have been vested with such possession, an inventory
of the movable property and a description of the immovable
property of the absentee, unless dispensed therefrom by the court
on the ground that such inventory or description had already been
made under the provisions of article 197, or for any other good
cause.
(2) The court may, if necessary, direct the said inventory or
description to be made before granting the demand for provisional
possession.
