22. (1) Where maintenance has be en furnished, no action will lie for the repayment of such part thereof as may have been furnished after the cessation of the cause for which maintenanc e was due. (2) Nor can the person to whom maintenance was due claim from the person liable, upon the latter becoming able to supply such maintenance, the amount th ereof in respect of the time dur ing which the person liable for maintenance did not furnish it for want of means.
