274. Notice of the birth of a child may also be given by means
of a letter signed by the person giving the notice by electroni c
means, or verbally; in the latter case, the person giving the n otice
shall attend personally before the officer charged with the dut y of
drawing up the act of birth.
Where notice is
given personally
by any one of the
parents.
