29. Where the marriage has been celebrated with a total or partial dispensation from the previous publication of banns, an d it is not shown that the person subject to the obligation mentione d in article 27, was aware of the pro posed marriage at least fifteen days prior to its celebration, it shall be lawful for such person, e ven in default of the opposition referred to in that article, to deman d, within the time of six months fo llowing the marriage, his relea se from the said obligation on any of the grounds on which such opposition would have been effectual. Where marriage is celebrated without the rites and formalities preceding it.
