Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 329
329. If the usufruct includes things which cannot be used
without being consumed, such as money, grain, or liquids, the
usufructuary has the right to make use of them subject to the
obligation of paying the value thereof according to the valuati on
made at the commencement of the u sufruct; in the absence of suc h
valuation, he has the option either to return things in like qu antity
and of like quality, or to pay their value at the current price at the
end of the usufruct.
Usufruct is
constituted by law
or by man.
