476. In case of doubt as to the extent of an easement, its exercise shall be restricted to what is necessary, having regar d to CIVIL CODE [CAP. 16. 145 the destination of the dominant tenement at the time the easeme nt was created and to the convenient use of such tenement, with th e least damage to the servient tenement.
