Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 501

501. (1) The property shall be appraised by experts chosen by the parties, or appointed by the court as provided in the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure. (2) The experts shall state in their report, whether the property can be conveniently divided without being injuriously affected, and, in case the property can be so divided, the experts shall in the same report determine each of the portions which may be made up and the value thereof, regard being had, as far as it is practicable without considerable damage, to the provisions contained in the next following three articles.
