668. (1) A person who is deaf-and-dumb, or dumb only, whether congenitally or otherwise, may, if he knows how to writ e, make a secret will, provided the will is entirely written out a nd signed by him, and provided he himself, in the presence of the court or of the notary to which or to whom he presents such will, and of the witnesses of the delivery, writes down on the paper which h e presents, that such pap er contains his will. (2) The notary in the act of deli very, or, as the case may be, t he registrar, in the note of particulars referred to in article 66 2, shall state that the testator wrote th e declaration mentioned in sub- article (1) of this article, in the pres ence of the notary and the witn esses, or in the presen ce of the court. Secret will be person totally deaf.
