688. (1) Any testamentary disposition made in favour of an uncertain person to be designated by the heir or by a third par ty is likewise void. (2) Nevertheless, it shall be l awful to make a testamentary disposition by singular title in favour of a person to be selec ted by the heir or by a third party among several persons specified by the testator, or belonging to famili es, or bodies corporate, specif ied by him. (3) It shall likewise be lawful to make a disposition by singula r title in favour of a body corporate to be selected by the heir or by a third party, among several bodies corporate specified by the CIVIL CODE [CAP. 16. 183 testator. Disposition in favour of next of kin.
