6A. (1) In case of any disagreemen t either spouse may apply to the competent court for its assi stance and the presiding judge, after hearing the spouses and if deemed opportune any of the children above the age of fourteen years re siding with the spouses, shal l seek to bring about an amicable settlement of such disagreement . (2) Where such amicable settl ement is not attained and the disagreement relates to the est ablishment or change of the matrimonial home or to other ma tters of fundamental importance, the presiding judge, if so requested expressly by the spouses jointly, shall determine the matter himself by providing the solution which he deems most suitable in the interest of the family and family life. (3) No appeal shall in this case lie from the pronouncement of the presiding judge. CIVIL CODE [CAP. 16. 15 Sub-title II Amended by: XXI.1993.5.
