Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 718
718. If the testator has left the i nheritance or leg acy subject to
the obligation that the heir or legatee shall fo rbear from doin g or
from giving a specified thing, the heir or legatee shall be bou nd to
give sufficient security, for the fulfilment of such obligation , by
means of sureties or by means of a hypothecation or pledge in
favour of the persons in whom, in case of non-fulfilment, the
inheritance or l egacy would vest.
Person charged
with delivery of
