Seisin of heirs. 836. The possession of the prop erty of the deceased is, by
operation of law, transferred, by way of continuation, to the h eir,
whether testamentary or an heir- at-law, subject to his obligati on of
discharging all the liabilities of the inheritance.
Where a part only
of the inheritance
is disposed of.
