Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 845

845. (1) The action for demanding an inheritance, or a legacy, or the reserved portion, whether in testate or in intestate successions, shall lapse on the expiration of ten years from the day of the opening of the succession. (2) Nevertheless, with regard to m inors, or persons interdicted, the said action shall not lapse except on the expiration of one year from the day on which they shall have attained majority, or the interdiction shall have ceased, as the case may be. § II. O F THE ACCEPTANCE AND RENUNCIATION OF AN INHERITANCE OF THE ACCEPTANCE OF AN INHERITANCE No person bound to accept inheritance.
