Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 861
861. The heir who renounces a tes tate succession forfeits all
rights to the intestate succession:
Provided that it shall be lawful for such heir to make, in the
act of renunciation, a reservati on in respect of the reserved p ortion
of the property to which he may be entitled under any of the
provisions of articles 614 to 653.
