898. The heir who enters upon inventory shall, in paying the debts registered in the Public Registry, and those of which he had received notice at the time of payment, and in retaining any am ount in respect of any debt due to h imself by the estate, observe th e order of the privileges or hypothecs securing such debts. Remedy available to creditor prejudiced by payment made by heir.
