34. Without prejudice to the provisions of the Ġieħ ir-Repubblika Act, an offence against discipline dealt with by the disciplina ry board shall no longer appear in personal records of the officer, afte r the lapse POLICE ACT [CAP. 164. 13 of sixteen months in case of a serious offence and the lapse of ten months in the case of a minor o ffence, if the officer has not b een found guilty of another offence during that period.
