18. Any reference in this Act to the national status of the father of a person at the time of that person’s birth shall, in relati on to a person born after the death of h is father, be construed as a re ference to the national status of the fa ther at the time of the father’ s death; and where that death occurred before, and the birth occurs on o r after the appointed day as defin ed in article 124 of the Consti tution, the national status that the father would have had if he had di ed on the appointed day shall be deemed to be his national status at the time of his death. 14 CAP. 188.] MALTESE CITIZENSHIP Decision of Minister to be final.
