Maltese Citizenship Act (Cap. 188), article 25B

25B. (1) There shall be a Committee, to be known as the Monitoring Committee, to monitor the workings for the process of the granting of Maltese citizenship by naturalisation on the basis of merit. (2) The Monitoring Committee shall consist of the Prime Minister, the Minister and the Leader of the Opposition. The meetings of the Committee shall be presided by the Prime Minister and the Committee shall regulate its own procedure. (3) The Monitoring Committee shall meet at least once a year, and it shall be entitled to call the Regulator to report to the Committee at its meetings. Added by: IV.2000.15.
