Merchant Shipping Act (Cap. 234), article 128
128. If any person:
(a) forges or fraudulently alters any certificate of
discharge; or
(b) assists in committing, or procures to be committed,
any of such offences as aforesaid; or
(c) fraudulently uses any certificate of discharge
which is false or altered or does not belong to him,
he shall for each offence, on conviction be liable to imprisonm ent
for a term not exceeding two years or to a fine ( multa) not exceeding
five hundred units or to both such imprisonment and fine.
