Merchant Shipping Act (Cap. 234), article 211
211. The Minister may mak e rules prescribing:
(a) the requirements that radio navigational aids, other
than direction-finders, shall comply with if they are
carried on board Maltese ships, including requirements
relating to their position and method of fitting;
(b) the requirements that apparatus designed for the
purpose of transmitting or r eflecting signals shall
comply with, being apparatus in Malta, or off the
shores of Malta and maintained from Malta.
