Merchant Shipping Act (Cap. 234), article 287
287. A person shall not knowingly send or attempt to send by,
or carry or attempt to carry in, any vessel, whether Maltese or
foreign, any dangerous goods under a false description and shal l
not falsely describe the sender or carrier thereof; and if he a cts in

contravention of this article he shall for each offence be liab le to a
fine ( multa) not exceeding fi ve hundred units.
