300. (1) The master of any Maltese ship, on meeting with dangerous ice, a dangerous derelict, a tropical storm, or any o ther direct danger to navig ation, shall send inf ormation accordingly , by all means of communication at h is disposal, and in accordance w ith such rules as may be made by the Minister for the purposes of t his article, to ships in the vicinity and to such authorities on sh ore as may be prescribed by those rules. (2) If the master of a ship fails to comply with this article he shall for each offence be liable to a fine ( multa) not exceeding fifty units. (3) Deleted by Act I.2025. 88.
