34. (1) Every bill of sale for the transfer of a registered ship or of a share therein to a pers on qualified to own a Maltese sh ip shall, when duly executed, be produced to the registrar with th e declaration of transfer, and the registrar shall, saving any ot her provision of this Act, thereupon enter in the register the name of the transferee as owner of the sh ip or share and shall endorse on the bill of sale the fact of that entry having been made, with the day and hour thereof.
