359. For the purposes of the following provisions of this Part of
this Act, "freight" includes pass age money and hire, and refere nces
to damage or loss caused by the fault of a vessel shall be cons trued
as including references to a ny salvage or other expenses,
consequent upon that fault, recove rable at law by way of damage s.
