68. (1) The following documents shall be admissible in evidence without the necessity of any proof of their authentici ty other than that which appears on the face of them and shall, un til the contrary is proved, be evidence of their contents: (a) any register under Part II and Part IIA of this Act on its production from the custody of the registrar or other person having the lawful custody thereof; (b) a certificate of registry und e r P a r t I I a n d P a r t I I A o f this Act purporting to be signed by the registrar or other proper officer; (c) an endorsement on a certificate of registry purporting to be signed by the registrar or other proper officer. (2) A copy of any document aforesaid or an extract therefrom shall also be so admissible in evidence if it purports to be si gned and certified as a true copy or extract by the officer having t he lawful custody thereof.
