84I. A ship bareboat charter regist ered under this Part required to be issued with international convention certificates in term s of an international convention to which Malta is a party shall be issued with such certificates unde r the authority of the Govern ment of Malta: Provided that where Malta is not a party to such convention a certificate required under that convention may be issued, wit h the permission of the registrar, under the authority of the governm ent of the underlying registry.
