84S. (1) Upon the bareboat charter registration of a Maltese ship in a foreign registry - (a) the owners shall immediately notify the registrar of such registration, and within thirty days surrender to the registrar the certificate of registry issued to the ship under this Act and deliver to the registrar a transcript or an extract of the foreign bareboat charter registration; and (b) the registrar, if satisfied tha t such registration has been effected according to the pr ovisions of this Act, shall make an entry thereof in the register of the said ship. (2) The owners shall immediately notify the registrar of the closure or lapse of the bareboat charter registration in a fore ign registry, and shall within thirty days of the closure of such r egistry, deliver to the registrar a transcript or an extract of the fore ign bareboat charter registrat ion showing such closure.
