Social Security Act (Cap. 318), article 100
100. Subject to the provisions of th is Act, where a person who
has made a claim for benefit, pension, assistance or allowance or
who is alleged to be or to have been entitled to a benefit, pen sion,
assistance or allowance, or to whom any benefit, pension,
assistance or allowance is payab le is unable to act or dies, th e
Director may appoint such person as he may think fit to proceed
with, or to make, a claim or to receive payment of such benefit,

pension, assistance or allowance on behalf of or as representat ive
of that person. Any person so appointed shall, for all the purp oses
of this article, be conclusively deemed to be the lawful
representative of that other person or his estate.
