Financial Markets Act (Cap. 345), article 43
43. An appeal against a decision of the competent authority or a
market operator of an authorized regulated market shall not sus pend
the operation of that decision:
Provided that a decision of the competent authority or a market
operator operating an authorized regulated market to remove lis ted
financial instruments from listing and, or trading, as applicab le, on an
authorised regulated market, or a decision of the competent aut hority
to withdraw an approval for a covered bond programme, shall not
become operative until the expiration of the period within whic h an
appeal lies under this article and, if an appeal is filed withi n such
period, the decision shall become operative on the date of the decision
of the Tribunal dismissing the appeal or on the date on which t he
appeal is abandoned.
