102. (1) The Director General may in writing authorise a public officer, or with the consent of the Minister, any other person employed by a body corporate esta blished by law, to perform any of his functions or exercise any power granted to him under thi s Act. Any such officer or person shall, when required, produce t he written authorisation signed by the Director General. (2) Where there is an exchange of officials from competent authorities in terms of the Consumer Protection Co-operation Regulation , the Director General may in writing authorise such officials to perform, in full or in part, any of the functions or exercise any of the powers gran ted to him under this Part.
