Consumer Affairs Act (Cap. 378), article 25A
25A. The Director General shall mon itor closely the decisions of
the Tribunal to identify traders whose conduct on the market ma y
be in breach of the Act or regulat ions made thereunder or who m ay
not be honouring the decisions of the Tribunal or of the Court of
Appeal to the detriment of cons umers and may take any action
under this Act or regulations made thereunder against such trad ers
to address any consumer harm that could be ensuing from the
traders’ behaviour:
Provided that any action by t he Director General under this
article shall be without prejudi ce to the obligation of the tra der to
comply with the decision of the T ribunal or of the Court of App eal.
