Consumer Affairs Act (Cap. 378), article 47
47. (1) In any consumer contract , where all or some terms
offered by a trader to a consumer are in writing, these terms s hall
be written in plain and intelligible language which can be
understood by the consumers to w hom the contract is directed.
(2) Where any term is ambivalent or any doubt arises about the
meaning of a term, the interpretation most favourable to the
consumer shall prevail:

Provided that this sub-article shall not apply to proceedings
brought under article 94.
