Companies Act (Cap. 386), article 131
131. The following provisions shall h ave effect in so far as the
articles of a company do not contain other provisions in that b ehalf-
(a) notice of any general meeting of a company shall be
given to every member of the company and shall be
served in the manner in which notices are required to
be served by the First Schedule;
(b) two members personally pr esent shall be a quorum;
(c) any member elected by the members present at a
meeting may be chairman thereof;
(d) every member shall have one vote in respect of each
share or each euro of stock held by him unless
otherwise provided in the ter ms of issue of such shares
or stock.
