257. (1) The court may, at any time after making a winding up order, make such order for ins pection of accounts, accounting records and documents of the company by creditors and contributories as the court thi nks fit, and any accounts, accou nting records and documents in the pos session of the company may be inspected by creditors and contributories in accordance with th at order. (2) Nothing contained in this article shall be construed as excluding or restricting any rights deriving from any law of Ma lta of a government department or other authority or person acting under the authority of any suc h department or authority.
