289. (1) The court may, on the application of any member, creditor or contributory, remove a liquidator if it is satisfie d that there exist sufficient grounds to warrant his removal and appoi nt another liquidator. (2) A vacancy resulting from the death or resignation of a liquidator appointed by the Court may, on the application of an y member, creditor or contributory, be filled by the Court. (3) The person who applied to the Court in terms of sub-article (2) shall, in the case of a vacancy resulting from the death of a liquidator, inform the Registrar of the demise of the liquidato r. Notice by liquidator of his appointment. Amended by: IV . 2003.114.
