Companies Act (Cap. 386), article 415
415. (1) For the purposes of an investigation made by virtue of
article 414, the provisions of articles 406(1), 407, 408 and 40 9 shall
apply with the necessary modifications of references to the aff airs
of the company or to those of any other body corporate, subject
however to the provisions of sub-articles (2) to (4).
( 2) The provisions of the articles referred to in sub-article (1 )

shall apply to -
(a) all persons who are or have been, or whom the
inspector has reasonable cause to believe to be or have
been, financially interested in the success or failure of
t h e c o m p a n y o r a n y o t h e r b o d y c o r p o r a t e w h o s e
membership is investigated with that of the company,
or able to control or materially influence its policy,
including persons concerned in the affairs of the
company only on behalf of others; and
(b) a n y o t h e r p e r s o n w h o m t h e i n s p e c t o r h a s r e a s o n a b l e
cause to believe possesses information relevant to the
investigation,
as they apply in relation to off icers and agents of the company or
any other body corporate whose me mbership is investigated, as t he
case may be. "officers" and "agents" shall have the meaning
assigned to them by article 407(4).
(3) If the Registrar is of the opinion that there is good reason
for not divulging any part of a report made by virtue of articl e 414
and of this article, he may forward or furnish a copy of the re port in
accordance with the provisions of article 410(3) with the omiss ion
of that part.
(4) The applicant or applicants for the investigation shall be
liable to such extent, if any, as the Registrar may direct; and subject
as aforesaid, the expenses of an investigation made by virtue o f
article 414 shall be pai d out of public funds.
