9. (1) The Director shall, after consultation with the court, assign a probation officer to be responsible for the supervisio n of a probationer: Provided that more than one probation officer may be assigned to the same probationer, each dealing with a particula r aspect of the case as the Director may determine. (2) The Director, where the circumstances permit, shall assign a probation officer experienced in dealing with children or you ng persons to supervise an offender who is under the age of sixtee n years.
