Environment Protection Act (Cap. 549), article 35
35. (1) For the purposes of the Criminal Code a n d o f a n y
provision of a penal nature in any other law, the members of th e
Authority and of any committee, board, or other body or office
established by this Act, and every officer thereof, shall be de emed
to be and be treated as a public officer.
( 2 ) T h e m e m b e r s a n d o f f i c e r s o f t h e A u t h o r i t y i n t h e
performance of their functions under this Act or under any othe r
law administered by the Authorit y, shall not be liable for any loss
or damage suffered by any person by reason of anything done or
omitted to be done in good faith in the course of the administr ation
of this Act or of any other law.
Consultations.36. The Authority, or any committee or Board, may consult
with any officer of the Authority or any other person or entity
whose advice is considered relevant to any matter under its
consideration. Such consultations shall be duly recorded.
