Environment Protection Act (Cap. 549), article 83
83. Notwithstanding any other law providing for the trial and
punishment of offences, where the Authority believes that a per son
has committed an offence against this Act, the Authority may en ter
into an agreement in writing with such person describing the
offence of which the person is accused, indicating the steps to be
taken to remedy the offence and a penalty which is agreed to be

paid in respect of that offence as shall be prescribed in regul ations
made by the Minister.
