30. (1) Any person who knowingly permits the use of any place for the purpose of the operation, promotion, sale or playing of any game in contravention of any provision of this Act or an y other regulatory instrument or in breach of any conditions atta ched to an authorisation issued by the Authority, or the storage of a d evice involved in the contravention of this Act or any other regulato ry instrument, or who wilfully prevents any Police officer or an o fficer of the Authority from lawfully entering into such premises, or obstructs or delays such officer from entering by any other mea ns or 22 [CAP. 583. GAMING contrivance whatsoever, or a person who gives any alarm or warn ing to such person, shall be guilty o f an offence against the Act. (2) Where any Police officer or officer of the Authority is wilfully prevented or obstructed or delayed as aforementioned, it shall be evidence, until the contrary is made to appear, that s uch premises are used for the said unlawful purposes and that the p ersons found therein were taking part i n the relevant unlawful activit ies. (3) In addition to any penalty under any provision of this Act or any other regulatory instrument, the money and effects representing the stakes as well as any other money and devices used in the playing of the unlawful game found in any place referred to under sub-article (1) shall be sei zed and forfeited in favour o f the Authority and shall be appropriated in favour of the Gaming Fun d. Investigation with or without notice.
